Creating an account allows you to connect with anyone or anything on the Te Mātāwai Community Hub. All members are equal.

Registration ensures everyone signs up to the same rules and protects the integrity of the platform.

Step 2 - Complete your profile

Before posting your first conversation, offer or activity, please ensure you sign in and complete your profile. This includes:

Having a complete profile makes you visible in the Members stream, which helps to create a richer network where other members can see who are you and what you do.

This is important to help you both engage in more meaningful conversations and talent exchanges.

Not yet! To ensure the timebank works for Te Mātāwai Community Hub members, residents and the wider community, you will have a face to face session with the Hub admin.

This is where you get to learn more about the timebank, we get to know each other and find out what will make it a good experience for you.

Once approved for the timebank, you can then make offers and requests through the Hub.

Step 3 - Get involved

As soon as you register for the Te Mātāwai Community Hub, you can get involved in everything besides making requests and offers.

At get involved you can see all the conversations, events, activities that the community is involved in and contributing to. You can reply to a conversation, poll or attend an event.

At add an activity, you can contribute in many ways to the community like add a new conversation or event, just follow the prompts. You can just add a title and some words and submit or provide more details. It's up to you.

Step 4 - Add an offer or request

Once you have been approved for the timebank, we will notify you by email and you can start exchanging offers and requests freely. We will give you 2 credits to get you started.

Adding offers and requests is easy. You do not need to be an expert to offer help and you can respond to offers or requests at any time.

To add your first offer or request, use the menu called 'your account', then choose the link to add an activity. Choose add an offer or make a request from the pop-up menu. Please add as much information as you can to make your activity stand out.

Step 5 - Search offers and requests

There are several ways to search for offers and requests within the activities stream. Type a keyword to search for something you're looking for. Keep it short, you're unlikely to find a match for a long search sentence!

You can use the filters and tags to search by what you're looking for help with or what you're interested in.
